Yesterday I said that I am a huge fan of pulls and today you'll see why I dedicate an entire day on the weekend, just to do bodybuilding work for my back.
If you watch the previous videos, I was playing about 90-100KG's for a few reps. Doubles and singles off the block, from hang, etc. This was because my back didn't feel like it was strong enough to hold position from the floor.
I took the whole of Sunday yesterday, to do pulls and train my back. Here's the list;
1. Deadlift from platform, 180KG (Felt like 101% 1RM), then 3 x 3 at 140KG deadlifts.
2. No sound pulls, 50KG x 10 x 3 sets, then 70KG x 8 x 2 sets. (Touch the floor with no sound coming from your plates)
3. Chinese rows (Seriously WHY is this called Chinese rows?), 10-15 reps x 6 sets (I was competing against my cousin seeing who could do more reps)
4. Back Extensions from floor, 10 reps x 5 sets (Check out Apti's video)
5. Cousin wrestling.
Today, I did 10 sets of singles at 110KG. I missed the first two after power snatching 100KG. Felt light though. Readjusted and got the last 8. Felt really good too.
